I’m betting everyone in our neighborhood can smell our garlic today!

The first load of black garlic is done. The second load will be done tomorrow. I’ve already loaded up the first garlic pot and started it going again. It takes 8 days to get it to this point. I have the garlic cleaned and ready to go into the other pot tomorrow.

Next, I roasted nine bulbs. Some was used to make an onion/garlic/cream sauce to go over grilled steak for dinner. The rest will be used to make garlic jam tomorrow.
Vince had been outside and walked in and said “I need a beer!” I asked why and he said .. it just smells so good in here! The garlic smell makes me want a beer. OK!

I might have planted mine too late but I checked it today and it’s growing. I have never heard of black garlic, I’ll have to check it out and inspire my palette.
