I’m not sure if it arrived a day early or a day late. Originally it was supposed to arrive on Friday, then it was changed to Monday but it came on Saturday. I knew I had another package arriving but didn’t know the pump was coming yesterday. I went out and stood on the porch . . after the Fed Ex truck came and didn’t leave anything on Friday, I was going to see where he put the packages yesterday. Bernard knows to leave our packages in the grass because we spray them down with Clorox water and leave them in the sun for a while.
I said “Where have you been?” because we’ve had a different Fed Ex driving the last few times I’ve seen him. He said “I was here yesterday!” I said “Oh! It was YOU who came and didn’t leave anything!” He laughed and said “Yes, I got all the way back here and when I grabbed the package, I realized it was for your neighbor.” I told him that I had gone out and looked everywhere for it.
But, I was so happy to see my pump that he knew I was just picking at him.
Vince got the pump hooked up but I won’t know for sure how it’s working for a few more hours.

I hope it works! How many people know their UPS or FedEx guys so well, or vice versa? There’s one UPS fella I just love. He brings things to my door. Everyone else leaves it right smack in front of the garage door where I’ll drive over it! Well, the postman doesn’t, but the other drivers do. I’ve had some close calls.
