I asked Vince this morning what he consisders “real” music. He likes the rock from the 70’s and 80’s – Led Zeplin type music. I told him “That’s crazy music!” We can kinda agree on things like Credence Clearwater, Chicago, Three Dog Night, The Eagles but we have to listen to the same songs over and over if we’re in the car driving to MO because there just aren’t enough . . or at least not enough on either of our old iPods.
Vince also likes some of the not really current but a bit more modern country music – George Strait, Alan Jackson, Martina.
What he doesn’t like is the old “twangy” country music that I like – Patsy Cline, David Houston, Jim Reeves, Charley Pride, Tammy Wynette – those artists I love best.
The only time it really matters is in the car on long trips and thank goodness, we don’t make many of those.

I’m with VInce on this one. I don’t like the twangy ones either. Matter of fact don’t like the petty me ones either. Sorry.

Real music for me – late 50’s-60s-70’s. I have a cable that hooks up thru cdplayer in car to my cellphone and Pandora. My Pandora Channel is Jan & Dean. ( I also like classical on occasion depending on composer, and love love my French music),

I like the music that both of you like. The only music I can’t listen to is the “long hair” recitals where you fall asleep listening to it. It has to be good music or I can’t listen to it.

Have you listened to Steve Stewart on You Tube ? He has a good voice

I’d say you both need ear buds on a trip!

Soundcore is highly recommended by my son, Paul III, and he said he thinks they are less than $25, sound great, and are comfortable.
Judy Laquidara says
I’m not sure what that is but I’ll have to look for them.
