Yesterday Vince went to get the mail and there was a small package of yarn. I’ve not even had yarn shopping on my mind
The other day a friend sent me a photo of a cardigan she had just finished. The pattern she used was Joining Bees & Things by Bunnymuff. Bees are so valuable to our garden and fruit trees. Every time I see them, I get excited. This time of year, when I go out to the chicken coop in the late afternoon, I can hear the bees buzzing. There’s a hive somewhere not too terribly far away and they come to the chickens’ watering cans for water.
So, not that the bees would get excited but I kinda felt like making the Joining Bees & Things sweater would be my tribute to the contribution the bees make to our fruit/vegetable production.
Vince walked in with the box and said “You ordered yarn?” I think he kinda thought that wasn’t happening any more since it’s been a good while since yarn arrived. Yep . . still ordering yarn but definitely not ordering much.

I received a box of fabric yesterday, first in a long while too. My husband was disappointed it was “only fabric”.

What was he wanting it to be?

Love that pattern! I signed up for a Bluprint class on color work. Maybe someday I’ll know how to do that!
