I read ‘The Great Bridge’ by David McCullough a few years ago, it was fascinating. I’ll look for this, thanks!

Forgot this was the name of a book. Being the daughter of an engineer and the wife of an engineer, I can attest it’s an influence. No wonder I’m OCD about how I fill the dishwasher. Always efficiency!!

Just finished this on Monday…excellent book! I really enjoyed it! Having lived for the last 20 years not far from Trenton, I’d heard about Roebling building the Brooklyn Bridge, but nothing about his wife being the actual brains behind the operation once he fell so ill. I found it fascinating to see what she went through, even if the relationship between her and P.T. Barnum was fabricated. One of the few I’ve given 5 stars to on NetGalley!
