Yesterday I spent way too much time in the kitchen making sausage. For dinner, I took out brisket that we had smoked and frozen, made black beans and was going to cook some beet greens from the garden.
I had been sewing, stopped and started finishing up dinner. The beans were cooked. The meat just had to be heated and the greens were washed and ready to cook. Vince said “How about we just have cereal for dinner?” Oh . . now you’re talking! That gave me more time in the sewing room.
So, I put away all the food that was to be for dinner and, it will be dinner tonight so I’ll spend my time in the sewing room this afternoon.
We worked in the garden this morning (Vince more than me).

I’m all for cereal for dinner! Or ice cream. Or cookies and milk. Or ….

I added then removed Blue Bell ice cream from my curbside pickup shopping list at least four times and in the end, I didn’t leave it on the list.
