This past week at Aldi, we came across several things that made me really happy!
The first is what I call moondrop grapes. They’re hard to find around here and I love them. The insides of the grapes are sweet but the skins are a bit sour – just sour enough to offset the sweet; and the insides are just sweet enough to offset the sour. Perfection!
The second thing was these Breakfast Biscuits.
When we were there week before last, I saw these and bought the Blueberry biscuits to try. I love them. They’re crispy and have the texture of whole wheat. Very tasty for a quick breakfast. When we went back, I was happy they still had some so we got another box of blueberry and a box of the crispy oat to try . . but we haven’t tried it yet.
They also had the red bag chicken that I love (already breaded chicken breasts and fully cooked). I put them in the air fryer and make a sandwich using the brioche buns. They make a great sandwich!
I love shopping at Aldi . . but you already knew that, right?

Those grapes look really strange…never seen anything like those before. You always find the good stuff at Aldi. You must have better eyes than me; I never seem to find all those cool things! Guess I need to start thinking of the possibilities when I go in, rather than just concentrating on what I’m looking for! 🙂

I saw those breakfast biscuits at my Aldi last week, but I didn’t buy any. My bill was big enough. LOL

They are such great snacks and more healthy than some things I could eat! 🙂

I love those grapes. They appear in a very short time frame in my area, so I grab them the 1st time I see them in the store, and then hope they are there the next time I go

Are those grapes the same as Black Grapes? We get those in Mn and they are big as well as tasty. I grab up a bunch when I see them.

I don’t know. Things have a lot of names sometimes. These kinda are shaped like Hot Tamale candy – long and skinny.
