Lost Tooth

Day #3 – Sockmatician’s Toe Up Socks KAL

Addie had only lost one tooth and it was on the bottom. At least one top tooth was loose when I was there at Christmas. She had so wanted it to fall out so she could sing All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth but that didn’t happen. When I was there, she kept thinking she was going to pull the tooth. There’s a special coin that Chad has been collecting for the tooth fairy to leave and I kept thinking if that tooth fell out while she was with me, I was going to mess up his plans because I didn’t have any of those coins. The tooth looked like it was close to coming out and that was almost two months ago.

Yesterday, finally, that tooth fell out. The one next to it can’t be far behind. She’s late losing her teeth but Chad was very late too. I kept asking the doctor . . what if his teeth don’t fall out? The doctor assured me that the longer he kept his baby teeth, the better his permanent teeth would be and he does have good teeth.

She’s a cute girl, with our without her front tooth but she’s growing up way too fast.

They DO grow up too fast, don’t they? It’s amazing to think that my kids are in their 30’s and 40’s, and even more amazing that hubby turned 70 this year!!!! Where have the years gone? Things need to slow down!!

Is she wearing pink eyeshadow? LOL She’s really cute, even with a missing tooth. That’s what my dentist said about my children, too. The longer it takes them to teethe, and the longer it is before they start losing teeth, the better teeth they have. They still have to take care of them, though, and one didn’t!

There’s no telling with that girl but it does look like sparkly eye shadow.
