It’s really funny when I think back to all the yarns I “auditioned” for the Swallowtail sweater. It was about the same time I was trying to decide on a combination for another colorwork sweater and several times, I walked away and said “forget it” but I really wanted to make this sweater so I kept coming back to it. Hard headed, yes!
This is a late night, bad lighting photo of my progress and it doesn’t do justice to these colors.
This is a photo I took night before last and I thought it might better represent the color but I don’t think it does.
I’m on Row 15 of 52 for this first section. While it seems to be taking forever, I haven’t had much knitting time. I am a little obsessed with this project and would love to spend a LOT of time knitting today.

Good luck getting all the time you want to knit!! 🙂 I was thinking of everything I wanted to get done for today, last night… Then my daughter texted, and now I will be spending the day with the 4-year-old grandson. He’s getting a cold so daughter doesn’t want to take him where she’s going today. I was already scheduled to watch him this afternoon and evening anyway, so I’ll just spend the WHOLE day instead of just part of the day. I’ll take some of what I’d planned to work on with me so when he’s napping I can hopefully get some things accomplished! If nothing else, I’ll at least accomplish more quality time with the grandson! 🙂

We never turn down time with the grandkids, do we? Have fun!
Here it is very close to noon and I haven’t touched my knitting yet.

I really like the colors. Even if they are not the true colors I bet they still go together well.

Maybe you can spend Saturday knitting.
