We’ve been watching Handcrafted American with Jill Wagner. We’ve been watching it on Amazon but our Prime account ends next week and we’re not renewing. I just looked it up and it looks like it can be watched on something called “Tubi” too. I’ll have to do more checking on that.
But, we’ve loved these shows until . . the sheep/wool/yarn show came up today.
The lady was talking and she said each skein of yarn is about $35 and it takes at least six of them to make a sweater. Vince whirled around to look at me. He said “You don’t pay that much, do you?” Of course not!
Seriously, I usually do not pay $35 for a single skein of yarn but I often use more than six skeins.
I could see he wanted to ask me more about the cost of the yarn but must have decided some things are better left unknown.

I couldn’t imagine paying that much for yarn either! Of course, I don’t wear wool and would never work with it because I’m allergic. (Thank goodness!!) I know that wool usually looks better and lasts longer, but for me, if I’m going to knit or crochet something it HAS to be cheaper than that or I wouldn’t be able to afford to do it!! 🙂

All he has to do is look at the credit card slips, I’m guessing. He doesn’t really want to know.
