We were laughing about Valentine’s Day and here’s the conversation that evolved.
Vince: Do you want to go out to eat?
Me: Really?
Vince: I’ll take you out if you want to go.
Me: No, I don’t want to go out.
Later, I was thinking maybe he had wanted to go out. I was pretty sure he offered just to be nice, but knowing that’s not how he is. What if he really wanted to go out?
Me: You didn’t want to go out, did you?
Vince: NO! Today is the worst day to go out. Everyone goes out . . even if they don’t like their wife or girlfriend . . it’s the thing to do on Valentine’s Day.
So, I’m thinking . . I hope we’re not in that group that would take the wife out even if you don’t like her! 🙂

LOL Husband suggested we go out. I think we knew it would be a bad choice, but we gave it a try. Even did ‘call ahead seating’, got there and were told “2 hours”. Checked a couple other places, long lines; got a couple fast food sandwiches and came home to eat them!! We did enjoy getting the mail picked up and chatting about the area after having stayed in from the low (for us) temperatures…cold!!!!!!!

Hope springs eternal. It would be nice to go out and have a yummy dinner with no cleanup afterwards but some days, we just can’t do it. At least you were able to accomplish a few things.
