This probably says more about my mental health than it does about the previous hosting site or the current hosting site but I have spent the last few days more frustrated than I’ve been in a long time. There were even a few tears. Maybe more than a few tears. Poor Vince . . he can be such a sweetheart and he can also be . . ok . . let’s not go there. Not today anyway. Today I’m celebrating being back online with my blog friends.
I was aggravated at myself because I’ve been seeing the signs that my previous host was having some issues. I had sent several emails in September and October about billing and never got responses. Then, a week or so ago, I began having other problems, and they just were not communicating. Finally, the guy responded, got things fixed, then Vince tried to do a backup and that may have caused additional problems and I was down again. It’s been working and not working off and on . . more off as time went on and then about Monday, it was down for the count.
I’ve switched to a new host (Dream Host). It seems a little slow to load right now but I’m thinking everything is getting settled in its new location so please give it all a few days before you start letting me know that you’re having problems. Also, the blog lady who does my blog updates is going to work on it and that may cause some issues. I’ll try to keep you posted.
But for now . . I’m so happy to be back!

Glad to see you back, Judy!! Vince, too! Just remember – 30 years ago there was no internet to even worry about! No frustration at all. Now, I think the biggest frustration for me is the lack of response from places I’ve done business with. You don’t find out until you’ve ordered something that it will be coming straight from China – in a month or two… Then when it’s not what you ordered, there’s no place to even contact to say they got it wrong, so obviously no way to straighten it out. More and more I’m getting much more cautious about where I order from online. If I can’t find a U.S. address, they aren’t getting my business.
Now take a good, deep breath and relax till the next crisis – you know as well as I do that another will come sooner or later…hopefully MUCH later!!!

Judy I usually save your blog for Sundays but sometimes during the week, if I need a pick me up, I’ll check in. I’m so glad you’re back!
