Chad takes his lunch to work with his current job and when it got cold, he got a thermos so he could take warm foods since he’s working outside. Addie thought that was the coolest thing and wanted a thermos so they got her one for Christmas.
When I was there, I made tomato soup. At first, she told me she didn’t like it but I asked her to taste it and then she loved it so I put the leftovers in a freezer container and put it in their freezer before I left town.
Nicole told me that Addie wanted Granny’s tomato soup the other night for dinner so she got it out, defrosted it and heated it up for her. She made sure she had enough left for her lunch so the next day, Nicole heated up the soup and put it in Addie’s thermos for her lunch. Addie thought that was the neatest thing that her soup stayed warm til she was ready to eat it.
It’s Pioneer Woman’s Tomato Soup recipe and if you haven’t tried it, even if you think you may not like tomato soup, you should try this. It is so easy and so delicious.

Looks delicious!

I love tomato soup! I like lumpy tomato best, but I’ll eat any tomato soup. Have you ever made tomato soup cake? Delicious! Doesn’t taste like tomatoes. It tastes like a great spice cake.

I followed your post and browned ground chuck with some poblano peppers needing to be used and an onion. So we had tacos with this meat. Then you posted about Pioneer Woman soup (the other one) and readers commented on this sherried one. So I made the sherry one first. Very tasty and makes a lot. So last night I added the leftover meat to soup with some green beans, corn and red potatoes. I do believe it is the best soup I have made in a long time. Thanks for the inspiration.

Since you are on Leto, did you leave the sugar out of this recipe?
Judy Laquidara says
I did leave it out and don’t even notice.
