Last night I finished Rosemary Cottage, book #2 in the Hope Beach series by Colleen Coble. I loved the first book in the series, Tidewater Inn, but I think I liked Rosemary Cottage more.
The third book in this series is Seagrass Pier. I have it for the Kindle but prefer the audio version so I can knit while listening but it’s about two weeks before I can get the audio version from the library (I’m on the wait list!).
So . . I have another book I’m reading on the Kindle now but should finish it in the next couple of days and then I’ll get started on Seagrass Pier, unless someone turns in the audio version early.
By the way, for those who asked, I use the Houston Public Library and our local library for audio and Kindle books. It’s often a long wait for the popular books but I can always find something to read.

Hi Judy, I like Colleen Coble’s books also. Do you know about Hoopla? It’s an app I have on my phone but you can use it on any device. It uses your library and the audio books are down loaded instantly. No waiting for a book you want. I looked and Seagrass Pier is on there. There are also movies and music on it also. It’s basically the only one I use now for all my audio books.

It’s similar to Overdrive/Libby that I use. My local library isn’t part of Hoopla and since you have to have a card to log on,I can’t access Hoopla. They only have 1,500 libraries as part of their system.

I love inter library loans. You get access to so much!
Also, I looked at an audio book recommendation the other day, and was shocked at the price! It doesn’t seem like a good business model.

We are very lucky to be able to access the Houston Public Library. All Texas residents can get a library card from them. They have so much to offer. We can also access our local library’s digital content but they don’t have nearly the selection.

There’s always something to read, you’re right. I got these three from my local library system, and will pick them up tomorrow. I wasn’t in any danger of running out of something to read, but still ….
