I know the difference between finite and infinite and I know this is wrong, but I’m beginning to feel like there’s an infinite number of UFOs in this house. Not “infinite” because they cannot be counted but infinite because the number may never end because I just keep finding them in the unlikeliest of places.
This morning I was cleaning out a tote bag that I don’t even know when or where I packed it. It was stuck in an extra bedroom. According to this blog post, I was in Missouri and didn’t bring the yarn I had planned to bring with me so I had to order more yarn.
“As you know, I’m in MO for another couple of weeks and I forgot to bring that yarn with me. I asked Vince to send me the yarn but apparently I didn’t leave it where I thought I left it and there was no way I was going to have him searching through my yarn and discovering just how much yarn there is in there so I ordered more yarn.
Miss Bab’s Yearning is similar in weight and content to the Farbmasche yarn I was going to use. I used Yearning in my Shieldmaiden Lace Shawl and absolutely loved knitting with it and the love the finished shawl.
On October 15, 2018, I started this project and by the end of the day on the 16th, I had gotten this far.
So, it’s spent over a year in a tote bag. I’ve been feeling the urge to work on a shawl so I think I’ll spend some time working on this one. Not real sure this is a good football game project but I’ll see how I do with it.

I find it funny how different we are with projects! Now, I do have some UFOs. Specifically, I have a queen sized hand quilted one, I have some Civil War Love Letters blocks done, an English paper piecing travel project, two tops to quilt, and one quilt that needs to have the label finished. Yes I have a ton of crumb blocks I’ve been making as leader/enders but they don’t have a plan, they’re mostly just to reduce my scrap volume.

It is going to be very pretty when you finish it!

Oh, that’s a pretty lacy pattern! I really like it. I kind of remember what you’re talking about – with not letting Vince look through the yarn. LOL
