I’ve just finished reading Tidewater Inn by Colleen Coble.
Tidewater Inn is considered a “Christian romantic thriller”. I’m not much into thriller type stories and I doubt this was anywhere near as thrilling as some of the thriller type books but it was thriller enough for me. One night, Vince was ready for bed and I said “Help me find ear buds because I cannot go to sleep til I know what happens in this book.”
It’s a feel good type story, not a far fetched plot . . I’m sure this kind of story does happen in real life, to some degree. There’s love, there’s excitement/mystery (thriller), there’s family disagreement, then family bonding .. but in the end . . well, I can’t tell you the ending.
Tidewater Inn is the first in the Hope Beach series. As soon as I finished it, I started reading the second in the series, Rosemary Cottage.
I do recommend Tidewater Inn. Colleen Coble has a lot of books. This is the first one of hers I’ve read and now that I’m reading the second one, I think I’ll be reading lots of her books.

Where did you get the books? I looked on Amazon and Lone Star Digital and not available. Thanks

Houston Public Library digital.

There are a lot of Colleen Coble books in Amazon’s Kindle books, and a lot in collections that are much cheaper than getting them one by one. Aloha Reef and Rock Harbor series are in collections, one for $5.99 (5 books) and one for $7.99 (6 books). Hope Beach Collection is $9.99 (3 books). My library also has scads of copies of all her series.

The Rock Harbor series is excellent. She is a great author!

Thanks. That will be what I look for next.

The Hope Beach series, of which Tidewater Inn is the first, can be found on Hoopla, a digital library app that you can access with your library card through your library system, if they have an agreement with Hoopla. Some are also available on OverDrive, another app, that library systems have an agreement with to check out and read/listen to books. I would also recommend the Lavender Tide series by Colleen Coble as well.

Ours does not have an agreement with Hoopla. I did read it through Overdrive, which thankfully, our library has. I’m on the waiting list for the Lavender Tide books.
