The Reflection shawl will get finished tonight.
Here’s the progress on the last photo I shared:
I was just getting near the end of the lace work.
Here it is tonight.
I’m down to the ribbing and can make as much ribbing or as little as I want to make. I asked Vince to tell me one hour before he’s ready to go to bed. At that point, I’ll finish whatever row I’m on, soak it and block it.
It will definitely be finished before I go to bed!
How cool is that the old blue striped towel is almost the exact same color as the shawl? I had bought a remnant of some really soft fleece like (but not fuzzy) fabric at Hobby Lobby. I was going to serge the edges and use it over my legs/feet when sitting and knitting. I can’t use a quilt because even the smallest ones I have hang down to the floor and that’s how a scorpion climbed up and stung me . . twice! So, anything I cover my legs with has to not touch the floor.
The other day I had tossed my soft cover on the sofa. Rita found it and she was instantly in love with it. She stayed up on the sofa snuggled up in it and then, I guess it fell onto the floor so she dragged it over to her bed and I guess it now belongs to her.
I’ll have to watch Hobby Lobby for more of that type fabric and make one for myself and not let her know about it. She definitely rules this house.

That is so funny! I bet it smells like you and that is why she likes it. She is a sweetie!
