She’s Back!

This morning Vince went out, as usual, and again, Cat wasn’t out there waiting for him. I was kinda peeping out the window and holding my breath waiting for her to run up to Vince but . . no Cat.

Vince had a long face when he walked back in. We were sure something got her. Yesterday when we went to town, I held my breath as we were driving down the road a bit, hoping not to see her on the side of the road, though I’ve never seen her anywhere near the highway. Our driveway is pretty long but who knows what that cat might do.

About an hour after Vince came back in, I glanced out the window and squealed . . she was back! I walked out there but, except first thing in the mornings, we can’t get real close to her. She looks fine.

Vince went out and was able to get closes to her and saw no damages so . . who knows where she was and what she was doing. Can you see that attitude? She is the weirdest, most standoffish, needy cat. She wants to be loved but she just cannot let herself get close to us. I wish she wasn’t so dangerous . . I’d just grab her and hold her tight til she trusts me but I’d probably end up at the ER with no telling what so . . our relationship with her is totally on her terms and not nearly how I’d like for things to be.

I’m glad she’s back and I asked her not to do that again!

  2. I think cat was telling YOU something ….
    Do not leave again and leave Vince alone that long….even though cat is stand of fish she needs to see you….and after she saw how much you took with she was worried YOU were gone for good….

  10. I am so glad she is back! I know you were both worried about her. If you look real close at her face, it looks like there are 2 faces there! But you can still see the attitude!
