Don’t laugh! You know how I like to make plans. I’ve been thinking a lot about the WIPs. I really have to get those done. They don’t all have to be done this year but I do have to make some progress this year.
What I’ve decided to do is this:
- Each month I’ll choose one, or two or three projects, depending on their difficulty and amount of knitting left to be done and I’ll work on those as much as I can during the month.
- I’m not going to work exclusively on those. If I have other projects, like the color challenge or gift projects, I’ll work on those too.
- At the end of the month, I’ll evaluate the progress made on that month’s projects. Some may have been finished; some may go back into the UFO pile; some may be carried over to the next month.
Just an idea . . it may work, it may not. We’ll see . . this time next year, I can be graded on my ideas/efforts.
Sound like a plan? A workable plan?

How about making a monthly goal(s) list. KatyQuilts blog does something similar. At the end of the month she evaluates how much she got done and sets the next months goals. Or maybe a quarter goal(s).

I started the Miss Marple Scarf last night and I am over half way done with it! It is so easy! Was not sure if I was going to be able to do the slot or not but it was very simple when you read the instructions!

Maybe choose three projects which are at three different stages of progress? (So one almost finished, one halfway done, one with a problem) or three different levels of difficulty/liking??

Your idea is great. It’s something that will work for you, because you thought of it. You can make this happen!
