While at Aldi yesterday, I checked the ice cream bin to see if there was any Christmas Cookie ice cream in there. There wasn’t but there was King Cake ice cream.
Of course, I had to grab one. It has cake, cinnamon, green icing and little purple sprinkles. Yummy . . but I rarely meet a Blue Bell ice cream I don’t like!

When I was on vacation down south earlier this year, I bought the Bride’s Cake flavor (because I read about it here). It was so good! I wish they sold it where I live.

We only have the basic flavors at our stores.

My mom remarried after my dad died and they lived in Brenham. The first time we went over for dinner, she took us out to pick out our ice cream from the freezer. Otis had his own freezer for ice cream, 24 gallons of different flavors. Oh, and they get special flavors in Brenham.

I’m jealous that you can get Blue Bell ice cream there. It is soooooo good, and not available around here. 🙁

I haven’t seen the King Cake ice cream, but I found Blue Bell’s Christmas Cookies ice cream recently in Walmart! So good! Thanks for recommending it, Judy, and Merry Christmas!

I don’t think I ever see Blue Bell at our Aldi, but I did find some at Food City the other day. Paul loves Birthday Cake, so I got that.
