Every single day I get up thinking I’m going to get a lot of knitting done. Most days I do not. It’s one thing after another but that’s life and it’s all fun . . . well, maybe not the water heater incident, but most every day, whatever I’m doing is fun.
Tonight it was after 6 p.m. before I picked up the knitting needles.
I’ve done 18 rows of gray and I have 23 rows total of the gray so that’s 5 more rows of gray then I’ll start with navy. I think I’m going to finish off the sleeves with navy. I only have one skein but it’s a full skein and should be plenty to do the bottom half of the sleeves but if I see I’m running short, I can always go back to the gray.
I must use different muscles or hold my wrist differently when doing colorwork using two hands because my right wrist is aching so I’m going to do plain knitting for a few days and hope the wrist gets better. Old age . . I don’t like it but considering the alternative, I think I’ll just be quiet about the aches and pains.
Nelle Coursey says
I understand your aches and pains! I am having trouble with my knees again! I think it may have been better before the surgery! But I guess that might be my fault! He did not send me to rehab and I think I should have gone! Most other doctors do send you to rehab, but not Strefling.
