ETA: Recipe for Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti
Someone posted this on Facebook the other day and I shared it on my FB. Vince saw it and said “Cream Cheese Spaghetti??” like he was thinking . . gross! I though it sounded great. After I posted it several of my FB friends made it and thought it was wonderful so I made it today.
Knowing the recipe would be way too much for the two of us, I divided it in half, and didn’t put the cheeses on top of the one going into the freezer. I also had a container of sweet potatoes in the fridge – it was leftover from Thanksgiving.
It was delicious. I asked Vince how he liked it . . I wanted his Italian opinion! He said: “I still like regular spaghetti and meatballs better but if you like this and we can have it more often, I’m happy with it.” I think that means he likes it!
This is what was left from the first dish of baked spaghetti. It’s plenty for another meal for us. When you consider we’ll get four meals out of that recipe, and it wasn’t expensive to make, and it was easy to make, this is a winner!
It was good enough that I’d serve it for company or take it to a covered dish get together.
