A friend of mine told us she used “s/b” in a text to her kids last week, and none of them knew what she meant. The three of us sitting there all knew that it was a shortened version of “should be”. I can’t remember what their guesses were (they were pretty hilarious), but Vince’s “fish-in-lake” made me think of that…
