Yummy Sandwich

There are few . . like 2 . . restaurants in this town where we will eat. Luckily, we don’t have a need to eat out much. I love McAlister’s Deli but Vince doesn’t like it. Last week, for some reason, we ate there. I got half a sandwich and a salad. The sandwich was called Jalapeno Turkey Crunch.

It was so delicious. Spicy. Bacon. Avocado. Thick potato chips. I wanted to go back the next day and get another one but Vince didn’t want to go back.

While we were out yesterday I was looking for jalapeno rolls but Walmart and United were already sold out so I bought jalapeno bagels, sliced turkey, thick chips. I forgot to get avocados! I told Vince if we could go back to McAlister’s and get that sandwich one more time so I could be sure exactly what it tasted like, I could make them at home. He agreed. I love that sandwich.

I’m sure Vince will be going to town in the next few days and he can pick up a couple of avocados and we’ll have us a crunchy, spicy, turkey sandwich!

You know we’ll all be having leftover turkey very soon so this is a good way to use some of it.
