It’s been a busy day. Vince changed out one ceiling fan. I’d rather not be home when those things are happening . . but I need to be here in case he needs me so I was here. It wasn’t bad but we’re still having problems with the switch only partially turning of the light on the fan. At this moment, he’s switching out the “box” from the other bedroom, where it does turn off the light, and if that doesn’t work, then it’s the remote in the fan and he’ll have to pull the fan down and changed out that little gizmo. I’m at the point where I think calling an electrician to fix the switches and hang the second fan is the better idea.
I made food for Rita. I started by baking 10 sweet potatoes. I used three in her food but it’s two weeks worth of food. We’re going to have baked sweet potatoes for dinner so I’ll bake some more and then I’ll bag up all the potatoes (without the peelings), vacuum seal them and freeze them.
No knitting yet . . laundry, cleaning floors, staying out of Vince’s way, helping when he needs me and making Rita’s food . . that’s it.
There’s a roast in the pressure cooker because I kept thinking about that sandwich at McAlister’s yesterday and even though I bought turkey meat for sandwiches, I think that same sandwich would be amazing with roast beef.
Hopefully Vince is about done with the fan and he can sit in his chair and relax. I can knit.

Knit away!! I know what you mean about husbands doing things and making them harder than they should be. But Pat is good at most repairs, just not some of them.
