This morning Vince and I were talking about a knitting designer who lives in an area where there are multiple yarn shops nearby. I told Vince “We’ve never lived near a yarn shop!” He said “Well, that’s something we could strive for with our next location.”
I’m thinking he must not be paying attention to what I’m saying because anyone who halfway knows me that the farther I am from a yarn shop, the better our chances of not spending our “golden years” in poverty; or he wasn’t paying any attention to what I’m saying and he’s just muttering anything that sounds like an agreement so he can continue doing what he’s doing without further interruption. Or, it could be that he’s looking for anything that may diminish my desire to live near Chad, Nicole and Addie.
I told him . . I was thinking more about yarn shops in the UK where they have all the rustic and local wools. He said “Well, I guess we could live there!”
What? Now I know he isn’t listening. Could you see us living where I could walk out my door, down the street a bit and buy yarn AND have to fly back and forth to Missouri every few months to see Addie? Nope, we didn’t save that much money for retirement!

Oh, that’s hilarious! He definitely wasn’t really paying attention. I don’t know ANY man that would be agreeable to finding a new place to live based on how close a yarn shop is!! That would be like my husband letting us move next door to a Joann Fabric store!! (Not that I buy that much at Joann’s anymore. My fabrics come from quilt shops so I know my quilts will last more than a few years!! I’m not moving unless the entire house falls in anyway, so at least that’s one issue I don’t even have to worry about! 🙂 Enjoy the search!

I’m hearing a ton of sarcasm in his responses.

Maybe he had a hidden agenda, but I think it was to end the conversation! Pretty funny!
