I’ve been doing some serious knitting on this project this past week.
I don’t think I can finish it today but I might can get it finished tomorrow — all depends on how much knitting time I can squeeze in over today and tomorrow.
The pattern is King & Thieves Cowl. It’s a very easy pattern. The hardest part was getting the right yarn to use and I’m sure I made that much harder than it needed to be. The yarn is Malabrigo Arroyo (sport weight). It’s a very soft 100% Merino and while it’s classed as a sport weight, I think it’s a bit heavier than some sport weight yarns. For the most part, Malabrigo yarns do not bleed as badly as some hand dyed yarns. If I were knitting this in a sweater, I’d knit it at a tight gauge to keep it from pilling and showing wear. For a cowl or shawl, I think it’s about a perfect sport/light worsted weight yarn.
