A Small Victory

I just heard last night that Madelinetosh is discontinuing Chunky. No! Not Chunky! I consider it an Aran weight but it may also be considered Bulky weight.

As soon as I heard that it was discontinued, I scrambled over to the ESK website and started searching for a color I “need” because, when it’s gone, it’s gone forever.

Then I came to my senses and checked my spreadsheet. I have enough for 8 sweaters! Even though only 7 colors are listed below, I actually bought Curiosity twice. It’s purple-ish gray. I love it . . still .. why did I buy enough for two sweaters? No idea!

I told myself that there will be other yarns I like just as much. It isn’t like ALL yarn is being discontinued. At least for now, I didn’t order any more so that makes me think I might be on the road to recovery with this yarn buying obsession.
