It’s been a day of football and it isn’t over. Georgia Tech; then LSU; then Clemson. I had planned to cook a roast in the oven but then thought . . I’ll make meat pies! When I was re-arranging jars the other night, I came across a jar of canned coleslaw from 9/2015 and have been wanting it ever since I came across it. I have 3 big heads of cabbage for sauerkraut but I think I’m going to use one of them to make more canned coleslaw since we really like that.
The crust was nice and flaky!
There was extra dough so . . not wanting anything to go to waste, I grabbed a jar of our homegrown peaches, made pie filling and we had fried peach pies.
There was no vanilla ice cream in the house so we had Christmas Cookie ice cream with our fried peach pies!

There’s a low calorie dinner. LOL It looks delicious, though, and I would definitely eat it.
