Madelinetosh Orders

The orders from the Madelinetosh sale seem to be picking up speed. I almost let out a little squeal when I see a shipping notice in my inbox. I just got this one:

These two almost look like they go together. For those not familiar with Madelinetosh’s (or most any dyer) nomenclature, OOAK is “one of a kind” though sometimes there’s actually a name on the band. It could be one that doesn’t quite match the specs for that particular color or it could be one that just doesn’t look right colorwise or it could be some that just got leftover for some reason. Who knows but I think it’s fun to get them. For those of us too familiar with Madelinetosh’s colors, we can almost always figure out what color they are or what color they were supposed to be.

I can go back and look at my invoices because they have pictures of the yarn but I was buying so willy nilly when it was 70% off. So long as it was a base I like, I wasn’t picky about color so each shipping notice is a bit of a surprise.

The only one I’m holding my breath about and really hoping I get is the sweater quantity of Mac & Cheese. So far, I know they’re out of that base but they’re supposed to get more of it in this week so . . my fingers are crossed.
