Yesterday I made great progress on my brother-in-law’s socks.
The left one looks shorter than the right one but it’s just the way I plopped them down. I’m making two at a time so they both come out exactly the same without me having to count or measure.
As of bedtime last night, I had 3″ done on the foot, which means I need to knit about 5.5″ more, then do the toe and then they are done. I probably could finish them today but I think my hands need a break from the small needles. I’ll have to think about it. Maybe I can get half done today and half done tomorrow.
After spending several days playing with yarn, there are so many projects I want to start so it’s taking a whole lot of discipline to stick with these socks and then work on the sleeves of my Blue Sand sweater. But, I am determined to finish both these before starting something else. Anyone believe that? 🙂

YES!!! I believe that!! I support your effort to move projects forward and finish them! Not that I knit, or crochet or such … but I believe you can do this.

Of course I believe you will finish them this year! you have 2 more months to get it done!! LOL Us knitters know you will have to start something else before you finish these.

I believe you are determined…
Whether it happens or not is up in the air.

That was fast, once you really buckled down to doing it. Pretty yarn.
