Vince is currently reading two books, The Mindful Diet and Taming Your Gremlins. I haven’t read either book, though I will read them both but I can’t read two books at one time. My mind gets them all jumbled together and my mind doesn’t need any more jumbling.
I probably shouldn’t recommend a book I haven’t read but every morning during our discuss the events of the day/world time, he’s told me about what he’s read and both books seem to be quite inspiring and thought provoking. Neither are books I would have picked up because my reading preferences seem to be more happy, love stories or historical books but from our discussions each morning, I am looking forward to reading these books.
Taming your Gremlins is free if you have Kindle Unlimited. The Mindful Diet is way less for the paperback than for the Kindle edition, which seems weird to me. So, I can read Taming your Gremlins while he’s reading it but I’ll have to wait for him to finish The Mindful Diet before I can start it. Neither were available on our digital library options.
For Vince, and for what he’s shared with me, they lead you to think back to the reasons why we do the things we do, whether it’s our eating habits or how we deal with people and relationships.
So . . there you go . . I’m recommending two books I’ve never read! 🙂

I am with you Judy. My tastes run towards love stories and/or historical and drama. Although I am just finishing up The Immortal Nicholas. A very good book, I also like Kristin Hannah, Jennifer Chiaverinni and Andy Andrews.

Good girl! I always promote reading. No matter what kind it is, I think it is good for our minds. However, there is nothing better than a good “Who done it”! I always try to figure out who did it!! Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t!!

Interesting titles, certainly! Can we judge a book by its title? =) Let me know what you think when you do read them – or whether you get from them the same things Vince does.
