I probably shouldn’t use that word normal when describing myself but finally, yesterday I woke up feeling good. I had been feeling bad since before we left Missouri, went to the doctor on Tuesday and had been taking meds for a full week. Saturday and Sunday I felt worse than I’d felt at all and figured the meds just weren’t working and was prepared to go back to the doctor yesterday but was very happy to feel good again.
I am so lucky that I feel good almost all the time. For some reason, which I cannot figure out, the only time I get sick is when I go to Missouri. At first I thought it was being at Chad’s house and something in the house was making me sick. I started staying in a hotel, also because 2 – 3 weeks in their house is long for all of us. Even staying in a hotel and not spending any time at their house, I still got sick so I can’t blame it on their house.
I did have breakfast with the first graders but mostly I talked to Addie’s other grandparents and had little to no interaction with the kids.
Anyway, I’m very happy to be feeling good again. I probably have a lot to say after hardly posting the last few days! 🙂

Years ago I had that problem every time we went to Dallas or Ft. Worth. Found out it was the smog and all the allergens in the air! So now I just take a stronger one when I come home!

Even if you aren’t interacting with the children, their little germs are floating around everywhere! About a week before you go to MO next time, get some Airborne or Walborne from Walgreens, and take it for that week, and all during your stay and see if you still get sick. That stuff was a constant when I was in the classroom! I didn’t get sick. Another good thing for that (says the teacher who did this, too) is B complex vitamins all the time.
