Last year some of you may remember that Blue Bell introduced Christmas Cookie ice cream about this same time of year, it sold out almost immediately and then there was a shortage. People were getting really upset as Christmas approached and the stores couldn’t keep Christmas Cookie ice cream stocked. I think I read or heard that they said they’d make more of it this year.
Vince and I went to the grocery store today and happened to end up on the ice cream aisle and there it was! We had a debate right there in front of the ice cream about whether we were going to stay on the keto diet . . or not. My suggestion was that we stay on the diet but we eat ice cream. I doubt any of the keto gurus would think that was a viable option but . . it’s Christmas Cookie ice cream we’re talking about.
For those who don’t know me as well others . . yes, we did get it and tonight, we’ll have small bowl of Christmas Cookie ice cream and it will be so worth it!

I say if there is something good that you really, really want to eat, you should eat it! Otherwise you will end up feeling deprived and cheat on you diet more and more.

Totally agree with Linda! The feeling of deprivation is the reason people don’t stick to diets. Since you don’t feel deprived generally, having a *small* indulgence will help you stay on track. (I noticed you said a small bowl).

I always think if you are craving something, you might as well get it, eat a little of it at a time. Because if you don’t you will eat the whole thing sooner or later!
