Thanks, Teri! The grater/chopper I showed yesterday is a Maxam chopper. I think it’s a little pricey but definitely worth it. This is one of those things that I use often. I was going to say . . if it breaks, I’d replace it immediately but I don’t think it will break very easily.

We had something similar when I was growing up – and my mom still has it and uses it often. It has to be at least 30 years old – it was called a salad master food processor . 🙂

Both posts make it look like a good thing. The waffle potatoes made it tempting, but with as little as I cook, I managed to stop myself from getting one … today.

The one most older people have was made by SaladMaster. They gave home parties showing you how to cook stacking pans on one burned and all. This grater was a gift sometimes for having the party.They made pots and pans and still do. This grater is exactly like theirs. It was expensive back in those days but most are still going just like their post and pans. I have a set that is almost 50 years old now and still good as new.
