This time of year I’m on constant alert for out of the ordinary Christmas gifts. I’m done with shopping and all the packages for MO were delivered last week but if I found something really neat, I’d get another gift or two.
Yesterday I was at Walmart, alone, and as I was walking by an end cap display, I noticed this.
I got it for myself because really . . I should try out these things before buying them for someone else. I never like to take my electronics into the bathroom because of the humidity but I love having music everywhere! In our small home, I can’t turn music on anywhere without it being heard everywhere so I thought this would be perfect for listening to the iPod music or Pandora without taking an expensive device in the bathroom.
This little Bluetooth Shower Speaker is supposed to have a 33 feet wireless range and is supposed to work for 6 hours when fully charged.
Since I just got this yesterday, I’m not saying it’s a great buy but for anyone on your gift list who likes their music in the bathroom, there are lots of these type speakers that are fairly inexpensive. I paid $9 for this one and it has several 5 star ratings and 1 one star rating at Walmart. There are some that rate higher that go up to $29 and higher.
I used it last night in the shower and it worked great. I used it this morning while getting dressed and it still had a good charge. I’ll try to remember to report back after using it for a month or so.

I had no idea there was such a thing! But then, I rarely have music playing. Silence is golden to me!

It should work for listening to audio books or podcasts also, don’t you think? I rarely listen to music but often have my phone nearby while I’m getting ready for my day.

Interesting! I never knew there was a whole world of shower speakers, but Amazon has educated me! Of course, I could listen to it while I’m sewing, too. =)
