We got home about 6:30 this evening. No matter how much I’d rather be in MO, there’s really no place like home. My chair. My computer plugged in on the right side. My shower with all my stuff where I want it.
We made it a whole week without washing clothes so you know what I’ll be doing all day tomorrow!
A friend took very good care of Boots, Cat and the chickens.
Without fail, I get sick every time I go to MO. I cannot figure it out. At first I thought it was staying at Chad’s house with the big dog and a cat in the house but Nicole is a very good housekeeper so I doubted it was that but trying to figure it out, I began staying in a hotel and I still get sick. I’m wondering if it’s not just driving 10 – 11 hours, then not sleeping well but we did have breakfast at school with a whole bunch of first graders one day. The day before breakfast, our realtor was sick. She didn’t get that close to me but maybe just being together in the car and in the houses . . I’m not blaming her . . I’m glad she came to work not feeling well because we needed her services but . . whatever and however it happened, I’m sick again. Sore throat, coughing my head off. I hadn’t brought cough meds with me and I coughed all night last night. I don’t know how Vince managed to get any sleep. I’m so glad Vince was on this trip with me to drive most of the way home today.
Tonight I will take cough meds and I will be in bed very early!

Welcome Home! Glad you had a safe trip but sorry you are sick. Do you take echinacea and vitamin C? Also, take your elderberry syrup!! Get lots of rest! P.S. Any luck with any houses??

So sorry you’re sick again. I’m a firm believer in Elderberry juice whenever I get that ‘cold coming on’ feeling or if I’m spending time in a crowd of people. Get some rest and feel better soon. I’ve started working on All the Lights again. I’ll send a picture soon.

My guess would be that you are around Addie and all the germs she is carrying from school. School starts – everyone gets sick. Not so bad for us now that the kids have grown up and moved out. But, when they were in school…..
Hope you feel better soon.

Welcome back! Now we’re both where we belong. But I’m not sick! I didn’t go around any children, however. 18 year old seniors don’t count, and there was only one. But FIVE dogs!

Do you ever take AirBorne? I love that stuff. At the least little sign of an impending cold, I drop a tablet into about 4 oz of water, let it quit fizzing, and drink it. Feel better soon.

Judy getting sick is probably due to change in environment. Things grow there that you are now allergic tio. Coming to Texas you got use to our stuff. Like right now cedar is blooming here there is something else there . Now that is my theory Maybe it is something else as simple as rgrass and weeds being cut in yards.

I used to get sick every time after babysitting the twins. Now that they’re older it’s gotten better. I’m keeping my fingers crossed but I got home from babysitting this past Wed. and so far so good. Take a look on Amazon for something called Allibiotic, made from all sorts of virus & bacterial fighters including elderberry extract, garlic extract, oil of oregano & more. All natural ingredients. I take one capsule every day from Sept. 1 to the end of May and rarely get sick. I may start on Aug. 1 next year since I caught a head cold in Aug. this year & last. I think it really helps.

I’ll do it. Thanks!
