A friend wrote me and told me that she thinks the horn looks like a hat and the horn needs to be longer. She wasn’t being critical . . she was sharing what she thought and didn’t want Addie to see it and say “It looks like a hat”. I understand what she’s saying but . . the horn is already sewn down and the baubles are sewn down on top of it. I really don’t want to take it off but . . I suppose I would if I have to.
I’m thinking she was looking at the picture before I moved the ear down lower. I do agree that the horn could be longer.
You all know how much I dislike fiddly stuff. I’m proud of myself for sticking with it, even if I did start it last November.
I hope she loves it and surely hope she doesn’t outgrow it soon and ask for another one but . . if she does, you know I’ll make another one.

I want to be your granddaughter! That is the cutest sweater ever – Addie is going to be over the moon!

And when she outgrows it, you could always make it into a pillow, without the arms of course.

A very cute unicorn! I like it

Very nice … You can make it into a pillow when she outgrows it and use the arms to hold the pillow like a hug. Stuff the arms if you want … They do turn out nice when you do such …

I think it is perfect and I don’t think Addie is going to say anything about it! She knows what it is and she will love it! I love it too!!

She may outgrow unicorns about the same time she outgrows the sweater. =) It’s cute as anything!

It’s cute! If she does think it looks like a hat you can embroider a few slanted lines on the horn to make it look like it’s spiraling. More fiddly stuff, but to me that’s better than ripping and reworking.

It looks fantastic. Wonderful finish – good for you for sticking with it.

I think it helped to move the ears down! I’ve seen pics of Addie wearing it, and it looks very cute on her!!
