Yesterday was the first day Karen and I were working on our All of the Lights cardigan.
Here’s my progress:
This is fairly accurate as far as color. I think the actual yarn may be just a bit lighter but with our bad inside lighting, I’m surprised it’s this close
I should calculate about how much I should get done on this project each day in order to be finished by the end of the year but I’m not going to . . at least not for now.
I think it’s funny how I tried so hard to get that blue Madelinetosh DK yarn to be what I wanted for this project and it just never was. I love that yarn but it wasn’t right for this project. Then when I came across this Wollmeise DK in the smoky deep grayish purple, I knew that was the right yarn and I’m loving it for this project. For months, this yarn has probably been saying “Pick me! Pick me!” and I was overlooking it.

Thanks for showing us your progress. That’s about how far I got and then had second thoughts. Will be eagerly watching your progress. I know you’ll be working on other things, especially during your Missouri trip.

I love that color for your project. It definitely was the best choice. Your cables show up great!

LOL – you were “blocking” it out!! A little knitting (and quilting!!) pun!

Certainly can’t complain that the cables don’t show up! That’s going to be a beauty.
