This morning I decided to spend some time cleaning one of the extra bedrooms. It’s the worst junk room in the house. It’s where I have the blocking mats on the bed but it’s also where extra jars of canned food go, extra yarn, the extra paper towels and toilet paper, all the extra cast iron pots/Dutch ovens. The second extra bedroom, that actually sometimes gets used as a bedroom, has totes full of yarn, the project bags, my flip loom so both of them really need cleaning but since I’m having a hard time even walking around in the room with the blocking mats, I decided to tackle that first.
Before I had gotten much cleaning done, I came across my All Points South that I had never blocked. I was surprised to see that I had finished the knitting on this in November, 2018. That was a good while ago! I wonder why I didn’t block it and wear it right away. Who knows why I do anything? I probably tossed it in there to get blocked, it got buried and I forgot about it.
It’s blocking now. I think I’m going to love it and I may want to make another one. This is pretty perfect for the winters we have here.
I think I’m going to take it with me to wear to MO when I go in a few weeks. It will be cool enough there to wear things like this. If I like it as much as I think I will, I’m going to dig through the stash and find yarn to make another one . . some day!

Did you unearth any other treasures as you sorted things? This will be perfect for MO.
