ADVENTurer Wrap Progress

I try to remember to put a pin or a progress keeper – something in my work so I can see how much I’ve accomplished as I knit. Things like the ADVENTurer Wrap that has so much knitting, and it’s the same thing, it often feels like I’m not making much progress but when I see it in a measured way, I can see how much progress I’ve made.

See the green pin in the orange section? That’s where I started yesterday about 4 p.m. That’s pretty much four repeats. The green I’m working on now is #14 and I’m betting I can finish that one, #15 and #16 tonight.

We made yet another trip to town today. Somehow, we skipped going on anywhere on Saturday and Sunday but I think we’ve been out at least the last four, maybe five weekdays. Vince wanted to eat Chinese today. I do not like the Chinese buffet here in town . . not one bit . . but that’s part of compromise – eat where I don’t want to eat sometimes. Went by the feed store for chicken feed before we ate. Then we ate and after we left the restaurant, we went to Walmart, then to United, then to one liquor store for a beer he was looking for, then to another liquor store, then to another grocery store that has beer . . never did find the beer he was looking for. Whatever it is, every store said they sell out as soon as they get it in.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that tomorrow . . I a NOT leaving the house! Who believes that? 🙂
