A New Instant Pot

Why wouldn’t I need a fourth Instant Pot? This one is the Ultra 6 Quart 10 in 1 pot. Nice of me to take a picture of the side in the non-English language! Sorry about that. Here’s a link to the same pot at Amazon.

At Amazon, it shows the regular price to be $149.95 but the price is $108.99 (as of this morning). But, Walmart also showed the regular price to be $149.95 but it was on clearance for $59.95. I walked by it and thought . . that’s a great price for someone who needs one but then I thought . . I need one! My thinking is that I am going to get some kind of a place here some day. Many days, I’m using two Instant Pots at a time. If I have a place in MO, I’m going to need two in MO and two in TX. Since I’d often be cooking for five in MO and just the two of us in TX, I’ll keep the mini and a regular one in TX and bring two 6 quarts to MO.

The new one says it can be used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, cake maker, egg cooker, saute’, warmer, and sterilizer. Cake maker! Did you see that? Yes, I needed this pot.

When I showed it to Nicole, she said “Do they have another one?” So, I went back to Walmart. Nope. I called the two closest Walmarts and they didn’t have one either. She decided since she already has two Instant Pots, she doesn’t need another one.

Every time I use my Instant Pots, I remember when people tried to talk me into trying one and I always said “No! I prefer the ones I use on the stove top.” I still have those but haven’t used them since getting the Instant Pots. Truly love those things!

Wow, I think someone made a mistake & thought they were putting one of the LUX models on clearance. Their loss, your gain! (I have a LUX model & it’s just fine, but I did notice they’re all on clearance in store & online.)

That’s a wonderful price! I’m so glad you were the lucky one who got to buy it.

That is great! I got a similar markdown Saturday, but it was for bobbins, so not so many $$ saved. 😀

I have a friend who bought two Instant Pots that burned out the motherboard the first time she used “saute”, so now she has a Breville. Oh, well…same principle!

I have three – a 3 quart and two 6 quarts. Use at least two of them daily. Wonder how I ever did without them. Now Judy, I have the newer Instant Pot Air Fryer, the Vortex. You won’t believe how much I use that. Watch for sales.
