Nicole had told me a few weeks ago that they have a sushi/hibachi food truck here. I was saying . . tell me you didn’t eat sushi from a food truck there! She said . . yes, they ate it and it was delicious.
I’ve been letting Addie pick where we eat. Thursday and Friday, we went to a Mexican place she likes. It isn’t my favorite but it isn’t bad. Today, she said “Let’s go to the food truck. It’s the BEST!” So we did . . and she was right.
Addie could not remember what she orders from there and I couldn’t reach Chad or Nicole on the phone so I told the young man that she couldn’t remember what she likes, could he please help. He began asking her questions and narrowed it down to California Roll and yes! That was it.
I got a fried roll and Addie and I split a hibachi plate.
It was really good . . definitely as good or better than what we get at the restaurant we normally go to in Joplin. We brought home a menu and I’m thinking we’ll eat there several more times while I’m here.
Who would have thought there would be such a good food truck in this little town?

WOW can’t believe a food truck in Nevada

Oh fun! I think food trucks are getting popular in rural areas. One of the breweries that doesn’t serve food, gets a food truck to come once in awhile. The price of rent for locations is horrendous in my area, so that definitely discourages new businesses.

They tell me the one from Chipsters here is really good. I heard he was not going to have it out much any more and would only be in his place at Bangs??

It looks like quite a nice food truck. I was thinking of all the ones in Tucson, and they are definitely not so nice looking, but the food that comes out of them is good. I don’t even know if there are any here, but there is a BBQ smoker thing that goes from one to another of one of the grocery chains here, so we have it about 4 times a year, and it is really good BBQ, just sold by the pound.
