I’ve been so busy in the kitchen all day. Right now there are meatballs baking and peanuts roasting in the oven . . taking advantage of it being on and doing two things at once.
I didn’t even realize what a mess I had until I walked out and then walked back in and noticed it. I hesitated to take a picture but figured . . I’m just keeping it real.
There’s garlic skins on the floor from peeling garlic all morning. The bottom drawer won’t close because I was digging for a fermenting weight and something fell behind it. I detest these cheap cabinets – probably one of the reason I won’t even consider a house with white cabinets, even though I know the color has nothing to do with the quality of the cabinets but in my head right now, white reminds me of these and I do dislike them . . a lot!
You can about see everything I’ve been working on today, along with Addie’s artwork jumbled up on the side of the fridge . . the only place a magnet will stick.
There was another project I needed to start so I got it all cleaned up, made a mess again and now it’s clean and I’m ready to start knitting.
I swept the floor, Vince fixed the bottom drawer . . it’s as clean as it’s going to get for today.

I bought a new fridge about two years ago and although I love how much room it has, it drives me nuts. Magnets won’t stick anywhere but the side. Just like yours. I have to tape things to the front. The finish on the front also drives me crazy. Picks up the slightest finger print! By the end of the day it looks like a bunch non-handwashing bozos live here.

I would let you come clean mine! Mine seems to stay in a mess!

Looks wonderful, and how much you accomplished in that messing up today.
