Chad, Nicole and even Addie have been making sausage.
This is the boudin and Chad said it tastes just like boudin you buy in Louisiana!
He’s told me the different kinds of sausage they’ve been making and it all sounds so good.
There’s some breakfast sausage.
I’ll get to try it when I’m there and he said he’ll send some home with me. What I really want is a quick lesson. He bought a sausage stuffer and I think Addie’s been doing a lot of the stuffing. I found a sausage stuffer attachment for my mixer so now I want to make sausage!
All of the sausage pictures I’ve seen look pretty amazing. They’re such a neat little family with all the fun things they do . . and yes, they are having fun making (and eating) their homemade sausage.

I want to make sausage too! I’ve made Chorizo, and it was amazing, but have never tried any other type. If you try it, you’ll have to let us know how you like it!

Is that hanging in a smoker, or something else? I have the sausage stuffer for the kitchen aid but so far have never tried it. Let us know the learning curve please.

Yes, they’re hanging in a smoker. Chad has a bigger smoker than ours. This is the smoker he uses. He’s had it over a year and uses it all the time. It’s a pellet smoker.

Very crafty! Takes after his mother!

We have pellet grills by Traeger and Pit Boss. Not a smoker, though. Sausage making sounds fun! I’d want to make hot links.

There’s an acorn that didn’t fall very far. =)
