The August UFO number is . . #1.
I can’t even tell you the last time I looked at my UFO list. (Do I say that every month?).
This is August. We basically have 5 months left in the year. I think once I finish the test knit I’m doing for Laura Aylor, once I finish a KAL I’m doing, once I finish my Comfort Fade Cardi (which only needs the collar and front bands, I’m going to look at my UFO list.
Oh . . heck . . I’ll go do it right now! Why wait?
Well, that’s embarrassing. I haven’t finished a single one. What was I thinking when I made that list? Quite a few of those things are pretty darned time consuming. I think there are at least three things on that list I could get finished by the end of the year. Three out of 12 . . not exactly stellar performance but I do like all my projects and some day I’m going to finish them . . all of them!

I think I’ve finished 4 of them, but the last few months have been bad UFO finishing months. Maybe as the weather cools I can not do any testing and can finish some more of them. WE can do it!

Four is better than zero! Yes, we can do it but will we? 🙂

I was really bad in July and didn’t finish my project. It should have been easy, peasy, (1 sock of a pair) but I spent a lot of time spinning instead. Maybe August will be better… 🙂

Oh, that’s great! I know right where it is – spray basted and folded over the chair next to the Bernina with the walking foot … on my dining table! That should happen quickly! #3 is made into a top – but I might decide to add borders, which weren’t in the original plan. #2, no progress. #4 is a vortex quilt and I added an entire section to it the month we did 4. #7 I didn’t actually work on, but I did make some decisions and find an appliqué border to use. #9, I finished enough blocks for the center, but haven’t sewn them together or bordered it. #10-11-12, no progress on any. So I have done *something* more than I would have done without you doing this, but I haven’t made progress every month. This month, I should, though!

I finished 6 of mine and made significant progress on another, so I’m calling that a win so far.
