This morning, Vince said “Do you want to go to Joe’s for our anniversary lunch?” The best thing at Joe’s, in my opinion, is the bread and that’s not good for the diet but I love their rolls enough to ruin the diet for the day so I said yes!
On the way to Brady, which is about 45 minutes from our house, Vince said “I need to run by Walmart and Tractor Supply too.” What? We have Walmart and we have Tractor Supply but he can’t seem to get near either a Walmart or a Tractor Supply without stopping.
The shirts he bought at our Walmart the other day were about 50 cents less at the Brady Walmart so he bought some of those. He bought some kind of outside game . . Ladder Toss.
They were regular $49 but on sale for $13 so Vince bought one for us and one for Chad.
Then to Tractor Supply where . . believe it or not, they had baby chicks and baby ducks. I begged for baby ducks . . not that I really want baby ducks, but I knew he would say no and I’m hoping he’ll figure it isn’t safe to bring me in those types of places because I may find a live critter I want to bring home.
Back home . . the anniversary celebration is over. Now that I think about it, I probably should have gotten a few ducks for our anniversary! The lady at Tractor Supply said “You only have to buy two!” I said “But I really want six!” I looked at Vince like . . please, can I have six ducks . . and he was wanting to get out of that store and I think he was thinking . . I’ll never bring her back to Tractor Supply again! Now, if I can just figure out how to make him afraid to take me to Walmart. They do have diamonds in there, don’t they? 🙂
