We’re looking all over northern Arkansas and Vince even talked to a realtor about houses in southern MO. I think the longer we wait without finding a house, the better my chances of getting closer to Chad but . . that may be be realistic.
Some of you may remember how excited I was when we found our house in MO and it had the lime green kitchen.
I would be on Cloud 9 if I could find that exact house now. For the first time since leaving MO 8 years ago, I would not buy our old house back. They’re building three houses across the street . . on three tiny lots and it has changed everything. I told Vince . . if we still lived there, I’d be selling that house and moving to the country. We’re just not city dwellers anyway but with all those empty lots across the street, it never seemed real crowded. There were empty lots on one side of us and we owned over an acre behind us so it wasn’t bad.
As much as I love lime green, I came across this today.
There’s a matching tub!
And carpet! Someone likes lime green more than I do! I could live with the carpet – maybe paint the walls pink and decorate it with pink, purple, gold and lime but the bathroom . . couldn’t handle that.
It isn’t a house we’d consider but it was a shock to see those pictures and I thought they were good enough to share.

Oh. Boy. It takes a special person to fit in to the scheme of the green toilet and tub. I tend to go neutral with those kind of fixtures, since I don’t change things out that often. Paint? I’ll go a little wild with it!

I don’t think I could do the carpet or the bathroom. I think it would have the same effect on me as Pepto Bismal and Pepto Bismal pink! LOL

The kitchen is pretty though!

That is VERY green carpet. It’s a lot of color for a very major part of a room.
Our of morbid curiosity, I would like to see how they furnished it;

You won’t believe this, but we’ve bought TWO houses that had that color of fixtures in one of the bathrooms. We changed them both out. I just couldn’t face that color (in the master bath in one house), nor subject our guests to it (guest bath in the other). Thanks for the memories!! LOL

Green is my favorite color, but I think I’d need a break from that bathroom!
