Our weather forecast had predicted a chance of rain for yesterday in the late afternoon. Fairly early in the morning, Vince said “I think I hear thunder!” He checked the forecast and it was still saying rain late afternoon, which didn’t happen, but we kept hearing thunder.
I left about 9:30 to head to town and saw this:
Can you see the piece of a rainbow? The clouds were covering most of it. Later down the road, I could see more of it but I needed to get to my appointment and had no good place to stop and get a photo. Safety first!
This picture screams Texas . . the old rock wall, which I guess is an old well, the scrubby trees; wide open spaces with no houses around . . just a few old sheds.

The WINDMILL VANES peeking above the tree! Yep, that’s Texas!!

Out that way it used to be a part of Camp Bowie. It could have been one of the places where they stored munitions. There were a lot of those scattered around the place and that is about the only thing they left standing!!

That’s pretty amazing photography! I like the rainbow, it looks like it’s shining down on the earth.
