Plucky was having a 10% off sale this weekend and I really did want to try some of their yarn for sweaters. Just the thought of being in Arkansas by next winter makes me want to knit more sweaters. I know . . it isn’t Minnesota or North Dakota but it will be way cooler than it is in this part of Texas.
Some of their bases look so interesting and so different from yarns I’ve used in the past.
The blue-green one is Traveler, which is a sport weight. It’s 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Mulberry Silk and 15% Yak.
The gray one is Yakkity and it’s DK weight and 100% Yak.
I’m excited to try both these yarns. These are “dyed for you” so I think I read that it will be sometime around the second week of August before they’re shipped.

Oooh, custom dyed yarn! That’s really fun. I look forward to hearing your reports on them.

They all looked so pretty! I decided I didn’t need to do this right now. Glad you got it though.

I can’t wait to see how the Yakkity knits up. There was a sweater pattern that I would love to knit with yak yarn.
